Hello!

I am Rachael and I am the owner and tutor of Red Book Online Tuition.

I have many years experience as a secondary school teacher having previously taught:

  • English literacy intervention for KS3 and KS4 in a comprehensive school in Bridgend, south Wales,

  • English, Religious Education, Welsh and History for KS3 and KS4 in a comprehensive school in Bridgend, south Wales,

  • English for KS3 and KS4 for Alternative Provision Online for SEND learners for Lincolnshire County Council,

  • Humanities (History, Geography and RE) for KS3 and KS4 in a comprehensive school in Bridgend, south Wales,

  • English Literature GCSE Examiner,

  • English tutor in Bridgend, south Wales, and,

  • From September 2025 I will be teaching Englsih KS3 and KS4 at in a comprehensive school in Bridgend, south Wales,

Alongside my teaching role I am currently studying part-time for the National Masters in Education (Wales) funded by the Welsh Government focusing on Equity and Diversity. My focus is digital poverty and how technology CAN help learners access learning if done so holistically whilst also being mindful of digital dependence on young minds.

I strongly believe that if we invest in our children, we are investing in our society, this is why I have set-up this online tutoring service due to parents asking me to tutor their children.
